yep I’m a sucker for rhyming!
Bean on Dean is a cafe that has seriously thought about its presentation
recently a lot of restaurants seem to be on a squirrel cage bulb kick!
(I love them too but they just blow too damn easily!)
I fell in love with the old Singer sewing machines
used as cafe tables - talk about smart upcycling! (and you can still pedal it!!)
it’s an interesting blend of street art, industrial lighting, and salvaged furniture
they’ve even reused vintage cotton spools as table numbers!
if there was a map detailing Brisbane’s best kept secret
Bean on Dean would definitely be on the list
it’s another one of those cosy cafes that has sprouted in the middle of nowhere,
and that makes it all the more precious to find
Kerfuffle (avocado, Danish feta, rocket, olive oil and balsamic vinegar)
chicken wrap! mmm, nom nom nom
and I have to say, the coffee here was better than the Campos coffee I’ve had in Newtown, which has left me, gobsmacked !
